Oggi nasceva Bill Haley uno dei padri del rock’n’roll e interprete del primo pezzo rock’n’roll: ‘Rock Around the Clock’ (leggi articolo). William John Clifton Haley nasceva a Highland Park, Michigan, il 6 luglio del 1925.
Dalla critica è definito il primo re e padre del rock’n’roll. Nel 1987 è stato inserito nella “Rock and Roll Hall of Fame”.
