DailyBOOM Media ha rilasciato “Let The Music Play”, un documentario sull’impatto brutale di COVID-19 sull’industria musicale, via YouTube (è prevista anche una pubblicazione a metà aprile su Amazon Prime). Questo lungometraggio è stato scritto dal produttore esecutivo Cate Meighan, con Heather Dauterive, video-editor e co-produttrice vincitrice di un Emmy Award, e una colonna sonora originale del pluripremiato polistrumentista Jack Miele.
All’inizio del 2020, l’industria musicale si stava preparando per un altro anno da blockbuster. Artisti come GUNS N’ ROSES e FOO FIGHTERS si stavano preparando per grandi tour, mentre i Mà–TLEY CRàœE annunciavano una reunion che in pochi giorni aveva fatto il tutto esaurito in tutta la nazione.
