Mick Taylor aveva avuto l’arduo compito di sostituire Brian Jones nei Rolling Stones, band che quest’ultimo aveva fondato. Era il 1969. Con la band album come ‘Sticky Fingers’ e ‘It’s only Rock’n’Roll’ lo proietteranno nell’olimpo delle rockstar.
All’improvviso, a fine 1974, il dodici dicembre appunto Taylor abbandona gli Stones. Perchè? Troppi eccessi? Troppi contrasti con il collega Keith Richards? Brani non riconosciutigli? Messo sempre in secondo piano? Forse un po’ tutto questo.
Abbandonata la band intraprende la carriera solista… nulla di che.
