“Hell on Eart” è il nuovo doppio DVD per i difensori e signori del vero e puro heavy Metal: i Manowar. L’ennesimo spettacolo da guardare per tutti gli appassionati e per tutti coloro che sono legati da un patto di sangue e sudore con la band di Auburn, New York, soprattutto per noi italiani che oramai da tanto, troppo, tempo non vediamo piùil nostro paese messo a ferro dal quartetto
statuitense…
Il doppio DVD è veramente ricco di tutto ciò che condisce la vita dei Manowar e soprattutto brani che non sono mai apparsi in un DVD dei Manowar. Il primo dei due dischi include filmati tratti dal ‘Demons, Dragons and Warriors Tour’ del 2007 e registrati in Turchia, Repubblica Ceca, Spagna, USA, e Canada; inoltre contiene filmati da ‘Death to Infidels World Tour’ del 2009 con brani del
calibro di “Hand of Doom”, “Sleipnir”, “Call to Arms”, “Loki God of Fire” e poi la prima mondiale di “The Asgard Saga” (di Wolfgang Hohlbein, autore tedesco, ndr) durante il “Magic Circle Festival III” in Germania. Tra il delirio totale dei fan piùaccaniti, fuochi artificiali, brani che esprimono una potenza
impressionante è impossibile restare indifferenti dallo spettacolo e dalla forza espressa dai Manowar.
Il secondo DVD contiene una serie di documentari veramente pittoreschi (“Gods of War Documentary”, “Asgard Saga Documentary”, “Father Documentary”, “Magic Circle Festival Documentary”) che ancora una volta, come se ce ne fosse bisogno, mettono in rilievo l’amore infinito che i fan hanno per i Manowar. Inoltre il video clip di “Die for Metal”, alcuni highlight dal “Death to Infidels Tour 2009” e altro ancora…
Insomma un lavoro da gustare; assaporare le performance dal vivo dei Manowar grazie all’uso di 150 angoli diversi e riprese dall’elicottero non è proprio roba da poco…
