Mike Portnoy respinge le news che lo vogliono in tour con i Rush al posto di Neil Peart

Mike Portnoy ha risposto a un falso resoconto da un sito web spagnolo pubblicato su Dà­a De Los Santos Inocentes (Holy Innocents’ Day), che si svolge il 28 dicembre e viene celebrato come una sorta di Pesce d’Aprile spagnolo.

Portnoy ha respinto ancora una volta le voci che dicono che andrà  in tour con Geddy Lee e Alex Lifeson come sostituto del batterista dei RUSH Neil Peart.

Un paio di giorni dopo la pubblicazione dell’articolo, Portnoy si è recato sul suo Instagram per respingere il comunicato, scrivendo:

Hahaha così tutti mi mandano questo post… Apparentemente qualche metal web site  ha pubblicato un articolo falso che dice che mi unirò ai @rush nel 2020 per un Tour per il 40° Anniversario di ‘Permanent Waves’! Anche al punto di creare un finto post su Twitter da parte mia!

Hahaha so everybody is sending this to me… Apparently some metal website posted a fake article saying I will be joining @rush in 2020 for a 40th Anniversary Tour for Permanent Waves! Even to the point of creating a fake Twitter post from me! 😳 (SWIPE ⬅️) While that’s a pretty awesome (completely hypothetical) dream…and I would surely do it in a heartbeat…it’s unfortunately not true!!
