I MÖTLEY CRÜE hanno annunciato “The Return Of The Carnival Of Sins”, un grande tour nordamericano previsto per l’estate 2026, pensato per celebrare due anniversari importanti: i 20 anni del tour “Carnival Of Sins” (2005-2006) e i 45 anni di attività della band.
Prodotto da Live Nation, il tour toccherà 33 città tra Stati Uniti e Canada, con la partecipazione speciale di TESLA ed EXTREME, che accompagneranno gli MÖTLEY CRÜE in quello che si preannuncia come uno spettacolo rinnovato, con scenografie aggiornate e una setlist ampliata.
I MÖTLEY CRÜE hanno pubblicato una dichiarazione ufficiale per presentare il tour:
“Riportare in vita lo spirito di Carnival Of Sins è stato fantastico, e abbiamo voluto spingerci ancora oltre per il suo 20° anniversario. Questo nuovo show è per i Crüeheads che sono stati con noi fin dall’inizio e per i nuovi Crüeheads che non hanno potuto vivere Carnival Of Sins la scorsa volta. Preparatevi: stiamo arrivando e non vediamo l’ora di vedervi la prossima estate.”
Parte del ricavato del tour contribuirà alla Mötley Crüe Giveback Initiative, attraverso la quale 1 dollaro per ogni biglietto venduto sarà destinato ad ASAP! (After School Arts Program), realtà che sostiene programmi artistici nelle scuole in un momento in cui molti finanziamenti federali stanno venendo meno.
In concomitanza con l’annuncio del tour, è stato pubblicato anche il cofanetto deluxe per il 40° anniversario di “Theatre Of Pain”, che include artwork rinnovato, l’album rimasterizzato su vinile colorato, un concerto inedito del 1985 (2LP), demo rari (1LP) e un libro rilegato di 76 pagine con foto e materiali d’archivio.
