William Shatner pubblicherà un nuovo album, “The Blues” , il 2 ottobre tramite Cleopatra Records. L’album conterrà cover di canzoni scritte da Robert Johnson, Albert King e BB King, Muddy Waters e altri, piùil successo dei THE DEAD SOUTH “In Hell I’ll Be In Good Company” e una composizione originale.
“The Blues” è il quarto album dell’attore famoso per essere stato il capitano Kirk di Star Trek con l’etichetta Cleopatra, dopo “Seeking Major Tom” del 2011, “Ponder The Mystery” del 2013 e “Shatner Claus: The Christmas Album” del 2018.
Tra gli ospiti presenti in “The Blues” ci sono Brad Paisley (“Sweet Home Chicago”), Jeff “Skunk” Baxter (“Smokestack Lightnin ‘”), Steve Cropper (“Route 66”) e Pat Travers (“I Put A Spell on You”).
Il singolo dell’LP, “The Thrill Is Gone” , con il chitarrista dei DEEP PURPLE e dei RAINBOW Ritchie Blackmore e sua moglie, Candice Night é is disponibile.
“The Blues” uscirà su CD e vinile colorato in edizione limitata.
