Back from a massive UK and European tour with Royal Blood, including a raucous sold-out show at London’s O2 Arena, The Amazons have dropped the video for anthemic new single ‘Bloodrush’. The track is the first to be taken from their forthcoming new album How Will I Know If Heaven Will Find Me? – out September 2nd 2022 on Fiction Records.
Directed by James Slater (Sam Fender, Blossoms, Inhaler) the video sees the band dancing with danger at an abandoned fairground. “The video is darkly funny, full of life and a totally unexpected interpretation of ‘Bloodrush,’” lead singer Matt Thomson said of the video. “It was a joy to inhabit Camelot, this old abandoned theme park, for the day and have knives thrown at my head.” Watch the video for ‘Bloodrush’ HERE.
How Will I Know If Heaven Will Find Me? is both a love letter and a rallying cry. Expansive, uplifting, sun-drenched singalongs produced by Jim Abbiss (Bombay Bicycle Club, Arctic Monkeys, Adele), and featuring co-writing collaborations with the likes of Maggie Rogers & Jamie Hartmann, find the Reading four-piece emerging from the darkness of 2019’s Future Dust full of lust for life and post-pandemic hope.
The boys continue to tour the UK with a string of summer festivals and a huge newly-announced UK tour in October, which will see the band headline London’s Roundhouse. Tickets available HERE.
