Formatisi nell’agosto 2012 a Roma (Italia).
Nel novembre 2012 la band entra nel rinomato 16th Cellar Studio di Roma per registrare due tracce promozionali.
Grazie a questa promo la band firma un contratto con l’etichetta statunitense Comatose Music nel gennaio 2013. L’album di debutto “Resurrection Denied”, registrato ancora una volta al 16th Cellar Studio, viene pubblicato nel giugno 2014 da Comatose Music.
Accolto da fan e critica, forse come uno degli album più brutali, i Devangelic si sono costruiti una forte base di fan a livello internazionale e sono andati in tour negli Stati Uniti nel giugno 2014 e in Europa nel settembre 2014.
Tra il 2014 e il 2017 i DEVANGELIC hanno partecipato a diversi festival internazionali come Deathfeast Open Air, Purulent Deathfest, Gothoom Open Air, Hellprint Day in Indonesia e Berlin Deathfest.
Il loro secondo album “Phlegethon”, vede la luce nell’ottobre 2017 pubblicato ancora una volta da Comatose Music e seguito da un UK Tour e un European Tour con Antropofagus e Relics Of Humanity oltre a molti importanti festival come Las Vegas Deathfest, Deathfeast Open Air, PartySan Open Air.
Alla fine del 2019 i DEVANGELIC firmano con Willowtip Records e pubblicano nel maggio 2020 il loro terzo album “Ersetu”. Il loro quarto full-length “Xul” è uscito il 7 aprile 2023 via Willowtip Records.
