Pete Way è di ceto una leggenda vivente ormai. Oggi festeggia i suoi 68 anni, molti dei quali trascorsi a far musica, una band su tutte gli UFO e poi, per non dimenticare il progetto Fastway assieme all’ex Motörhead Eddie Clarke.
Auguri mitico Pete. Peter Frederick Way nasce a Enfield Town, Greater London, Inghilterra, il 7 agosto del 1951. La band piùimportante in cui ha militato è gli UFO di Michael Schenker fuoriuscito dagli Scorpions da poco. Inoltre è molto famosa la sua collaborazione con l’ex chitarrista dei Motörhead Eddie ‘Fast’ Clarke, Fastway’, che prende il nome appunto dal soprannome del chitarrista e dal cognome del bassista.
Fonderà anche una sua band, i Waysted, e poi collaborerà con amici di vecchia data Michael Schenker e Phil Moog e con nuovi amici musicisti.
