Attrice, cantante e modella americana, affascinante musa di David Lynch, Chrystabell torna in tour in Italia, dopo il posticipo dei concerti inizialmente previsti a marzo 2022, per un’unica data italiana, venerdì 3 giugno al Circolo della Musica di Rivoli (TO), con ‘Midnight Star’, il nuovo album pubblicato a gennaio su etichetta Love Conquered Records. Quinto disco di studio, ‘Midnight Star’ mostra una nuova Chrystabell, con brani dalla narrativa avvincente e concettuale che si snoda attorno alla relazione straziante e fallimentare dell’umanità con questo pianeta Terra.
“Midnight Star è la forma piùalta di realizzazione”, spiega Chrystabell, “è chiunque tu sia nella tua immaginazione quando non lasci che i limiti ti controllino. E’ il viaggio piùpuro, è il supereroe nella tua mente che saresti se nessuno ti dicesse che non potresti”.
Chitarre e batteria lasciano il posto a sintetizzatori che segnano un affascinante cambiamento nella visione creativa dell’artista, creando un disco pop moderno davvero senza pari. Tra i momenti culminanti di ‘Midnight Star’ la sorprendente cover di ‘Love My Way’ di The Psychedelic Furs.
