Un’altra perla degli Slayer, quinta per l’esattezza, veniva pubblicata il 9 ottobre del 1990. ‘Season in the Abyss’. Forse un po’ diverso rispetto ai quatto album infernali che lo precedono, ma sempre un album Slayer al 100%

‘Season in the Abyss’ è un grande album, leggermente diverso nelle tematiche, problemi culturali, politici e sociali vengono messi piùin evidenza rispetto ai precedenti temi dedicati all’occulto e all’antireligiosità , ma comunque l’album è tutto un insieme di potenza e voracità .
