Ted Nugent - Auguri al possente chitarrista che oggi compie 71 anni

Oggi Ted Nugent compie 71 anni. Un grandissimo chitarrista ancora in attività dalla metà degli anni sessanta, precisamente del 1967 anno di esordio discografico dei suoi Amboy Dukes.

Nugent nasce a Detroit, il 13 dicembre 1948. Ted ha scritto pagine memorabili nella storia della musica rock sia con la sua band che durante la sua carriera solista che vanta molti album e molti successi.

Molto criticato per le sue scelte politiche e sociali, dichiaratosi Repubblicano, per la liberalizzazione delle armi, la caccia agli animali, e contrarie all’uso di droghe…

Mille i suoi soprannomi derivanti dalla sua musica e anche dalle sue scelte personali… i piùdivertenti: “The Motor City Madman”, “The Nuge”, “Uncle Ted”, “Terrible Ted”, “Great Gonzos”…
