Il piùgrande gruppo punk britannico ancora in vita, THE DAMNED, pubblicherà la sua piùcompleta collezione di canzoni con un nuovo LP di successo, in uscita il 1° novembre tramite BMG.
Il best-of album, che abbraccia tutta la carriera, include un’ampia tracklist di 39 canzoni curata dagli stessi membri della band, incluso il nuovissimo singolo “Black Is The Night”. Hanno scelto il designer Phil Smee per creare la copertina in stile gotico. Smee ha lavorato con la band numerose volte nel corso della loro lunga carriera come pure creato disegni leggendari per MOTà–RHEAD, Elton John e MADNESS, tra i tanti altri.
THE DAMNED terrà uno speciale spettacolo teatrale il 28 ottobre al Palladium, in collaborazione con Hammer House Of Horror, che ha fatto registrare il tutto esaurito. Intitolato “A Night Of A Thousand Vampires”, la serata fonde l’amore per l’horror dei DAMNED con uno spettacolo punk rock che comprende anche cabaret e cast di supporto del Circus Of Horrors.
