Altre cattive notizie sul fronte dei concerti. Stanno aggiungendosi alle cancellazioni i piùfamosi festival d’Europa. Dopo Roskilde, il BST Hyde Park, il Nova Rock si aggiunge uno dei festival metal piùfamosi al mondo, che vedeva in cartellone il ritorno del Nu-Metal con Deftones, Korn, System of a Down e Faith No More.
Molto probabilmente, data la situazione ancora di emergenza del coronavirus, tutti i festival italiani verranno annullati o comunque rimandati a seconda delle condizioni di sicurezza e dall’andamento della pandemia. Molte di queste band, inoltre, annulleranno tutti i tour per evitare perdite finanziarie enormi.
Anche di questo parla il comunicato dell’organizzazione dell’Hellfest, che si è pubblicamente scontrata contro l’assicurazione, che cerca in tutti i modi di non pagare il premio per l’annullamento del festival per dettagli nelle clausole, causando gravi perdite a tutto l’indotto del festival.
Aware of the risks and its responsibility, Hellfest Productions Association has nevertheless taken care to take out insurance of type “all except” with the company named ALBINGIA, French insurance company located in Levallois Perret, for the modest amount of 175,000€. We obviously contest this reading. For ALBINGIA, solidarity is for others, taking the risk of putting their policyholders in economic difficulties. Their reasoning is simple, take our contributions for a cancellation insurance YES, compensate us: NEVER. The idea?! Playing with words and interpretations to start a trial which last for several years. Meanwhile, the company will keep the money we should be able to claim. This is the reason why we want to shed light today on these shameful practices especially in times like this.
Solidarity and commitments compliance should be the main concerns of insurers company.
In short, while we are waiting for a long procedure, only two words come to us for this specialized event and audiovisual insurance company: FUCK YOU!
Poche speranze per quest’anno quindi di vedere quindi Guns N’ Roses, Aerosmith, Foo Fighters, Rammstein, Pearl Jam, e tutte le splendide band che avevano programmato tour per quest’anno.
