Settanta anni, cinquanta dei quali trascorsi on the road per il Boss, Bruce Springsteen, nato il 23 settembre 1949 al Monmouth Memorial Hospital della località balneare di Long Branch, nel New Jersey, da Adele Ann Zirilli (o Zerilli), di origine italiana, proveniente da una famiglia emigrata negli Stati Uniti alla fine dell’Ottocento da Vico Equense, nei pressi di Napoli e da Douglas Frederick con ascendenze irlandesi e olandesi.
Un’autentica leggenda vivente e che arriva a questa cifra in un’incredibile forma e con un’energia smisurata dimostrate nelle sue lunghe esibizioni live che arrivano a toccare le quattro ore di musica.
Fra i suoi album di maggior successo ricordiamo tra gli altri Born to Run, Darkness on the Edge of Town, The River e Born in the U.S.A, ma anche l’ultimo intimista Western Stars, pubblicato dalla Columbia Records il 14 giugno 2019.
